The doctors at Martin Orthopedics have extensive training in several orthopedic sub-specialties and sports injuries. They can provide surgical and non-surgical treatment options for patients with all types of joint and musculoskeletal problems.

Ashley Gershner – PA-C
Ashley Gershner is a physician assistant who joined Dr. Martin's team in Spring 2020. Ashley is an Arkansas native from Rogers, AR. She graduated with a degree in biochemistry from Westminster College in Missouri, where she also played for the college soccer team. After completion of her Bachelor's degree, she went on to get her Master's degree at the University of Arkansas for the Medical Sciences in 2019.
Ashley is currently board certified through the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of Arkansas Academy of Physician Assistants.
Ashley has been married to her husband, Grant, since 2017. She enjoys traveling, running with her dog, Lucie, and getting outside as much as possible.
Hannah Davenport – APRN
Hannah Davenport is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with a focus in family practice. She is a graduate from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with a Masters degree in nursing. Hannah’s work experience includes being a registered nurse with Baptist Medical Center and Arkansas Surgical Hospital as registered nurse prior to joining Martin Orthopedics. Hannah is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and enjoys serving and caring for others.
In her spare time, Hannah enjoys time with her husband, family, and friends. She is a member of New Life Church.
Chris Davis – PA-C
Christopher Davis has been with Martin Orthopedics since 2012. He attended College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA and graduated in 1995 with a dual major in Chemistry and Mathematics. After obtaining his undergraduate degree he then attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and obtained his Master of Divinity degree. After ten years of ministry in Virginia and Arkansas, Christopher graduated Harding University’s Physician Assistant program with Master of Science in PA Studies.
Upon graduation, he began working with Martin Orthopedics and has joined Dr. Martin’s orthopedic team specializing in treating various knee and sports injuries. Christopher is very active with physician assistants in the state and currently serves as President of Arkansas Academy of Physician Assistants as well as serves on the PA subcommittee of the Arkansas State Medical Board. In addition to this, he serves as a reviewer for Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery as well as Journal of American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Christopher has been married to his wife, Allie, since 2001 and they have 2 daughters, Ella Marie and Lula Beth, and three sons, Cole, Connor and Collins. In his spare time, he enjoys coaching sports with his kids and being an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
