About Kevin M. Goodson, MD

Kevin M. Goodson, MD, is a highly trained, board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Martin Orthopedics in Little Rock, North Little Rock, and Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. He boasts many years of experience and specializes in the treatment of injuries and disorders of the foot and ankle. 

Dr. Goodson graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and received his medical degree from the institution’s School of Medicine at the Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. He completed a surgical internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. He finished his medical training with a foot and ankle surgery fellowship at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa.

Dr. Goodson maintains his advanced credentials with continuing education. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arkansas Orthopaedic Society, and the American Medical Association. 

His published research appears in the Journal of Arthroplasty and the Journal of Pain Management, and he has presented research at numerous regional and national medical conferences.

In his free time, Dr. Goodson enjoys traveling, skiing, playing golf, and spending time with his wife and two children. He is a Christian and a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
